{"id":8736,"date":"2021-05-11T07:26:52","date_gmt":"2021-05-11T05:26:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.meslibellules.fr\/blog\/?page_id=8736"},"modified":"2025-12-29T09:46:11","modified_gmt":"2025-12-29T08:46:11","slug":"epitheca-bimaculata-accueil","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.meslibellules.fr\/blog\/epitheca-bimaculata-accueil\/","title":{"rendered":"Epitheca bimaculata (Charpentier, 1825) : accueil"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-center\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.meslibellules.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/epitheca-bimaculata-male-emergent-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1445\" height=\"1204\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.meslibellules.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/epitheca-bimaculata-male-emergent-2.jpg\" alt=\"Epitheca bimaculata m\u00e2le \u00e9mergent, Coligny (France-01), 08\/05\/2021\" class=\"wp-image-8738 size-full lazyload\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/www.meslibellules.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/epitheca-bimaculata-male-emergent-2.jpg 1445w, https:\/\/www.meslibellules.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/epitheca-bimaculata-male-emergent-2-768x640.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.meslibellules.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/epitheca-bimaculata-male-emergent-2-1200x1000.jpg 1200w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 1445px) 100vw, 1445px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 1445px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1445\/1204;\" \/><\/a><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h5><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Description - Identification<\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:14px\">Epitheca bimaculata est un grand odonate de 55 \u00e0 65 mm, un Corduliidae qui ressemble aux Libellulidae, d'ailleurs d\u00e9crit en 1825 par Toussaint de Charpentier sous le nom de Libellula bimaculata.<br>Mais contrairement aux Libellulidae sa coloration \u00e9volue tr\u00e8s peu depuis son \u00e9mergence jusqu'\u00e0 sa maturit\u00e9, seuls ses yeux deviendront parfois verts comme ceux des Corduliidae.<br>On ne peut le confondre qu'avec un jeune m\u00e2le (ou femelle) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meslibellules.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/libellula-fulva-maleetfemelle-immatures-1-2048x1001.jpg\">Libellula fulva<\/a> dont il partage les taches basales alaires (plus compactes pour L. fulva) et la ligne noire abdominale dorsale, qui est forte et se prolonge jusqu'au S3 pour Epitheca bimaculata.<br><br><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:32px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Habitat - Distribution<\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:14px\">Son habitat de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence est constitu\u00e9 de grands \u00e9tangs aux berges v\u00e9g\u00e9talis\u00e9es, la pr\u00e9sence d'arbres ou de for\u00eat \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 semblant indispensable. Maculata est compos\u00e9 du latin <em>maculo, souiller, tacher et du suffixe \"atum<\/em>\" signifiant \"<em>porteur de ou dot\u00e9 de<\/em>...\".
