Sur les 5 Lamelligomphus actuellement connus au Vietnam, nous n'en aurons vu que 2, celui-ci et L. camelus. Ils pr\u00e9sentent tous de spectaculaires appendices anaux, sont assez ressemblants par leurs motifs thoraciques, mais Lamelligomphus vietnamensis ne montre pas de \"mamelons\" sur le 8\u00b0 segment, compl\u00e8tement lisse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C'est une esp\u00e8ce qui n'est pas rare, mais qui est rest\u00e9 longtemps confondue avec ses cousines et elle n'a \u00e9t\u00e9 formellement d\u00e9crite qu'en 2015 par Karube(1) et d'apr\u00e8s ce que j'en sais... doit \u00eatre end\u00e9mique du Vietnam, en tout cas pour l'instant\u202f!

Ce sujet a \u00e9t\u00e9 captur\u00e9 par Tom Kompier, dans la rivi\u00e8re ci-dessous quelques minutes apr\u00e8s cette photo.\u00a0 Nous \u00e9tions alors dans le parc de Xuan Son, \u00e0 une centaine de kilom\u00e8tres au nord-ouest d'Hano\u00ef, \u00e0 une altitude d'environ 100 m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
