Macromia unca, Macromiidae, a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9crit par K.D.P. Wilson en 2004 \u00e0 partir d’un exemplaire captur\u00e9 dans la province chinoise du Guangdong, s\u00e9par\u00e9e du Vietnam par la province du Guangxi.
L’auteur pr\u00e9cise que le nom d’esp\u00e8ce vient du latin uncus,<\/em> pour courb\u00e9, en crochet<\/em>, en raison de la forme particuli\u00e8rement recourb\u00e9e de l’hamule post\u00e9rieur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e2le et femelle sont tr\u00e8s ressemblants et montrent tous deux cette forte bande ant\u00e9hum\u00e9rale jaune qui s’interrompt avant l’insertion de l’aile, ce pattern abdominal particulier sur le 2\u00b0 segment et les segments 3, 4 et 5, et un anneau jaune \u00e0 la base du 7\u00b0.\u00a0 Dans sa publication dans Odonatologica\u00a033(4) : 423-432, Wilson pr\u00e9cise que l’abdomen de la femelle mesure 46.5 \u00e0 50 mm, et elle doit donc atteindre un peu moins de 70 mm au total.

C’est certainement une esp\u00e8ce cr\u00e9pusculaire, car l’auteur pr\u00e9cise aussi que tous ses sp\u00e9cimens ont \u00e9t\u00e9 captur\u00e9s \u00e0 la tomb\u00e9e de la nuit, le n\u00f4tre l’a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 exactement 18 heures 18, peu de temps avant la nuit, en effet.
L’esp\u00e8ce, d’apr\u00e8s mes recherches, ne serait actuellement connue que des provinces chinoises du Fujian, Guangdong, Ghuizou, et du Vietnam. N’\u00e9tant pas capable de lire le chinois, cette distribution g\u00e9ographique est sans doute obsol\u00e8te et il est peut-\u00eatre pr\u00e9sent au Guangxi (au moins\u202f!), province partiellement cern\u00e9e par les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes.
