Coenagrion ornatum femelle \u00e9mergente, Druy-Parigny (F-58), 04\/06\/2023<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Ces 4 photos repr\u00e9sentent la m\u00eame femelle. C’est la seule femelle que j’ai aper\u00e7ue avant l’orage qui a interrompu ma prospection, c’est dire si, lorsque je suis rest\u00e9 enferm\u00e9 dans ma voiture, j’avais peur de ne pas en voir d’autres…
Et heureusement, la premi\u00e8re photo est celle ci-dessous \u00e0 gauche (et la derni\u00e8re), o\u00f9 l’on voit le mieux les larges taches postoculaires fortement indent\u00e9es qui suffisent \u00e0 son identification, malgr\u00e9 sa coloration encore tr\u00e8s p\u00e2le. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

C’est certainement un sujet n\u00e9 le matin m\u00eame, comme en t\u00e9moignent la couleur et le caract\u00e8re non hyalin de ses ailes.
On note comme son abdomen est massif par rapport \u00e0 celui des m\u00e2les ; c’est d\u00fb \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence des masses ovariennes qui sont \u00e9tendues tout au long de l’abdomen et c’est une constante, plus ou moins facile \u00e0 percevoir, pour les odonates que le diam\u00e8tre de l’abdomen des femelles est sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui des m\u00e2les.

Sur cette derni\u00e8re photo, on remarque \u00e9galement son pronotum et le petit lobe post\u00e9rieur qui fait saillie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalement, apr\u00e8s l’orage, je finirai par trouver une, sans doute, deux femelles matures bien color\u00e9es.
Je n’ai pas eu la chance de trouver de m\u00e2les \u00e9mergents, aussi en voici un<\/a> sur l’application Inaturalist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
