Nous avons vu 3 peut-\u00eatre 4 Leptogomphus pendant ces 13 jours de prospection au Vietnam. Malgr\u00e9 ce faible nombre, ils sont quasiment indiscernables par leurs motifs thoraciques ou abdominaux et il faut recourir \u00e0 l’examen de leurs appendices anaux. Celui-ci montre des cerques (epiprocts pour les anglo-saxons) tr\u00e8s particuliers, tr\u00e8s \u00ab\u00a0carr\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb.
C’est un genre qui comprend 26 esp\u00e8ces en 2018, 4 nouvelles esp\u00e8ces ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9crites depuis 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La description de l’esp\u00e8ce dans \u00ab\u00a0Neue Libellen von Formosa, S\u00fcdchina, Tonkin und den Philippinen<\/a><\/em>\u00a0\u00bb montre l’importance des motifs thoraciques et bien s\u00fbr des appendices anaux pour l’identification.
Celui-ci a \u00e9t\u00e9 aper\u00e7u au long de cette rivi\u00e8re<\/a> dans le parc de Xuan Son, un peu \u00e0 l’ouest d’Hano\u00ef.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mon estimation de taille est de 60 mm, l’abdomen mesure 45 mm.
On le rencontre en Chine, dans les provinces du Fujian, Guangdong et Guangxi, et au Vietnam.

Quelques jours plus tard, j’ai photographi\u00e9 cette femelle, vraisemblablement de la m\u00eame esp\u00e8ce. Nous n’avons d’ailleurs enregistr\u00e9 que cette esp\u00e8ce pour ce jour de prospection dans notre checklist.
Elle venait sans doute d’interrompre sa ponte comme en t\u00e9moigne la masse des \u0153ufs encore fix\u00e9s sous son abdomen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
