Mais nous ne l&rsquo;avons presque exclusivement rencontr\u00e9 que sur la rivi\u00e8re, pos\u00e9 le plus souvent sur des piquets taill\u00e9s par les p\u00eacheurs et enfonc\u00e9s dans la vase des rivi\u00e8res. Et malgr\u00e9 cette abondance, je n&rsquo;ai que tr\u00e8s peu de photos, car il n&rsquo;est pas facile de les approcher, ni de faire des photos depuis une pirogue en mouvement.<br>On peut penser, en le voyant ainsi, qu&rsquo;il est facile \u00e0 identifier avec son thorax rose-violac\u00e9 qui contraste avec son abdomen rouge (Red-tailed skimmer en anglais).
