Une seule et tr\u00e8s br\u00e8ve rencontre en sous-bois avec Cratilla lineata (Libellulidae) durant ces 13 jours. Cette fois-ci, nous sommes le long d’une rivi\u00e8re de for\u00eat<\/a> dans le parc de Xuan Son<\/a>, le 8 juin 2018, alors qu’il est donn\u00e9 pour pr\u00e9f\u00e9rer les mares de for\u00eat (une n’\u00e9tait pas tr\u00e8s loin).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C’est un genre bi sp\u00e9cifique et j’avais d\u00e9j\u00e0 rencontr\u00e9 son cousin C. metallica en Malaisie\u202f;<\/a> tous les 2 d\u00e9crits par Brauer, 1878, ils sont faciles \u00e0 s\u00e9parer, mais ont en commun cette ligne claire, bien visible en haut du thorax, qui se poursuit entre les ailes. Il mesure 46 \u00e0 48 mm.
En anglais, il prend le nom de Lined Forest Skimmer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’IUCN<\/a> (International Union for Conservation of Nature) nous apprend que son aire de distribution s’\u00e9tend de la c\u00f4te ouest de l’Inde \u00e0 travers l’Indochine et le sud de la Chine, jusqu’\u00e0 Ta\u00efwan, les Philippines et l’Indon\u00e9sie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cratilla<\/strong> est un genre cr\u00e9\u00e9 par Kirby (1) et je doute un peu de l’\u00e9tymologie que l’on trouve dans le livre de mon ami Marcus Ng (2). Kirby ne donne pas d’indice et les auteurs proposent que Cratilla<\/strong> viennent du latin cratis qui signifie treillis ou grille et se r\u00e9f\u00e9rerait \u00e0 la nervation dense ; seulement, et les auteurs le reconnaissent, elle n’est pas vraiment plus dense que pour de nombreux autres Libellulidae.
Lineata<\/strong>, du latin lineatus<\/em>, pour marqu\u00e9 de lignes<\/em>, ce qui se r\u00e9f\u00e8re aux marques abdominales. On ne le voit pas tr\u00e8s bien sur ces photos et il faudra attendre que je mette en ligne les photos faites en Tha\u00eflande !<\/p>\n\n\n\n
