Le 4 juin 2018 lorsque nous avons rencontr\u00e9 Philosina buchi pour la premi\u00e8re fois, nous n’avons pas pu l’approcher ; les sujets se tenaient alors sur une partie de la rivi\u00e8re<\/a> trop profonde pour que nous puissions y acc\u00e9der et ce n’est que le 6 lors de notre retour \u00e0 Cao Bang que ce sujet spectaculairement color\u00e9 et pruineux a \u00e9t\u00e9 captur\u00e9.
Son abdomen mesure 45 mm selon Ris, ce qui doit correspondre \u00e0 une longueur totale de 60 mm.

Le genre Philosina et le genre Rhinagrion ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9cart\u00e9s de la famille des Megapodagrionidae en 2013 (Redefining the damselfly families : A comprehensive molecular phylogeny of Zygoptera (Odonata)) suite \u00e0 une analyse mol\u00e9culaire mitochondriale et nucl\u00e9aire. Ils font maintenant partie des Philosinidae.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et comme le montre la photo suivante, il ne semble pas particuli\u00e8rement territorial\u202f!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il se rencontre dans le sud de la Chine (Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan) et au Vietnam (depuis mai 2014, d\u00e9couvert par Tom Kompier).

\u00c9tymologie<\/strong>
Philosina<\/strong> ; du grec philo<\/em> qui signifie qui aime<\/em> et du latin sinae<\/em> qui signifie la Chine<\/em>. Fliedner (2021) rapporte les propos de Ris, qui explique qu’il a cr\u00e9\u00e9 ce nom de genre parce qu’il ressemble \u00ab\u00a0…en particulier au remarquable Philoganga, que l’on trouve \u00e9galement dans le sud de la Chine, et dont le nom se veut un rappel.<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0. [pour m\u00e9moire, Philioganga<\/em> signifie qui aime le Gange].
Buchi<\/strong> est un hommage au P\u00e8re Buch, un missionnaire catholique fran\u00e7ais qui lui a transmis des sujets collect\u00e9s, par un naturaliste local, dans la province chinoise de Fujian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
