Coeliccia doisuthepensis fait partie dans les Platycnemididae d’un genre qui comprend actuellement 80 esp\u00e8ces distribu\u00e9es de l’Inde au Japon et \u00e0 l’Indon\u00e9sie ; une vingtaine d’esp\u00e8ces ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9crites depuis une dizaine d’ann\u00e9es. Certains membres sont difficiles \u00e0 s\u00e9parer, mais celui-ci est facilement reconnu par son motif thoracique singulier form\u00e9 par trois traits bleu clair sur fond noir, de chaque c\u00f4t\u00e9 du pt\u00e9rothorax, et ses deux derniers segments jaunes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noter les petites taches postoculaires, centrales et tr\u00e8s post\u00e9rieures, une des particularit\u00e9s du genre.
Coeliccia doisuthepensis mesure 37 mm pour l’abdomen, 23.5 mm pour l’aile post\u00e9rieure (1). Il doit donc atteindre environ 43 mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Biotope,<\/a><\/figure>
\n

Nous les avons trouv\u00e9s \u00e0 1180 m d’altitude, dans le parc National de Doi Suthep, sur un petit ruisseau forestier (18\u00b048’21.2″N 98\u00b054’30.7″E). Le plus souvent, ils pendent presque verticalement \u00e0 la pointe d’une branchette ou d’une feuille, parfois dans la p\u00e9nombre.

Ici, c’est notre compagnon am\u00e9ricain, Chris, qui est \u00e0 l’\u0153uvre sur ce site tr\u00e8s peu \u00e9tendu. C’est dans ce parc qu’a \u00e9t\u00e9 captur\u00e9 l’unique sp\u00e9cimen qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 par Asahina pour d\u00e9crire l’esp\u00e8ce.

On rencontre l’esp\u00e8ce au nord de la Tha\u00eflande et du Laos, pr\u00e8s de la fronti\u00e8re du Myanmar et du Yunnan ou il est susceptible d’\u00eatre d\u00e9couvert.

Selys a d\u00e9crit la premi\u00e8re esp\u00e8ce du genre en 1863 sous le nom pr\u00e9occup\u00e9 de Trichocnemis (col\u00e9opt\u00e8re longicorne) et c\u2019est Kirby qui a rectifi\u00e9 et cr\u00e9\u00e9 le genre\u00a0Coeliccia<\/strong>\u00a0en 1890. Ce nom de genre, inexpliqu\u00e9 par l\u2019auteur, \u00e0 ma connaissance, vient peut-\u00eatre du latin\u00a0coelum<\/em>\u00a0(ou\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>caelum<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>), qui signifie \u00ab\u00a0ciel<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0c\u00e9leste<\/em> \u00ab\u00a0, et d\u2019un suffixe ou simple terminaison choisie pour l\u2019esth\u00e9tique ou la phon\u00e9tique. En effet, la premi\u00e8re esp\u00e8ce d\u00e9crite par Selys, Trichocnemis membranipes, est\u00a0bleu-ciel<\/em>, pour toutes ses parties non noires.
Doisuthepensis<\/strong> rappel l’origine du premier exemplaire d\u00e9crit, pris dans le parc national Doi Suthep auquel est ajout\u00e9 le suffixe ensis<\/em>, indiquant la place d\u2019origine ou l\u2019habitat.
