Prodasineura croconota (Platycnemididae, ex-Protoneuridae) se distingue des autres Prodasineura par les tr\u00e8s larges marques jaunes ou orange de la face dorsale de son thorax et la ligne jaune lat\u00e9rale qui le parcourt. En anglais, il prend le nom de Orange-backed Threadtail.
Il \u00ab\u00a0pendait\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 une feuille sur le chemin qui longe une des rivi\u00e8res du parc de Xuan Son. Il mesure 35 \u00e0 37 mm et se rencontre dans le sud de la Chine, y compris Hong Kong, et le nord et le centre du Vietnam.

Quelques dizaines de jours apr\u00e8s avoir r\u00e9alis\u00e9 cette page, j’ai retrouv\u00e9, mal class\u00e9e dans les Protosticta, cette femelle tr\u00e8s jeune qui a tout l’air d’\u00eatre une femelle Prodasineura croconota; comme les m\u00e2les, elle montre ces petits points clairs sur l’abdomen pr\u00e8s de la base de chaque segment abdominal (alors que les marques plus larges sont \u00e0 l’apex du segment pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent). Elle a cependant un tout petit peu plus de coloration blanche sur le 9\u00b0 segment que ce que j’ai pu trouver sur le Web.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c9tymologie<\/strong>
Ris a d\u00e9crit cette esp\u00e8ce sous le nom de genre Disparoneura (Selys, 1860).
Prodasineura<\/strong>\u00a0(Cowley, 1934) ; je ne suis pas parvenu \u00e0 acc\u00e9der au document dans lequel Cowley s\u00e9pare ce genre des Disparoneura (il reste quelques esp\u00e8ces appartenant \u00e0 ce genre en Inde et en Afrique). Les deux genres sont tr\u00e8s proches et pour insister sur cette cette proximit\u00e9, il a cr\u00e9\u00e9 un\u00a0anagramme<\/em>\u00a0de Disparoneura.
Croconota<\/strong> du grec krokos<\/em> qui signifie safran<\/em> (jaune orang\u00e9 intense) et du grec noton<\/em> qui signifie dos<\/em> et qui s’applique, en entomologie, \u00e0 la face dorsale de l’abdomen ou du thorax. C’est bien s\u00fbr ici une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 la face dorsale jaune vif du thorax : \u00ab\u00a0Thorax-dorsum leuchtend orange\u00a0\u00bb. Cette interpr\u00e9tation de l’\u00e9tymologie est confirm\u00e9e par Fliedner (2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
