Le genre Anisopleura (Selys, 1853) (1) appartient au Euphaeidae et Anisopleura furcata est une des onze esp\u00e8ces qu’il contient.
Ce sont toutes des esp\u00e8ces de rivi\u00e8res en montagne, qui sont pour la plupart assez rarement contact\u00e9es.
Les m\u00e2les pr\u00e9sentent la particularit\u00e9 de poss\u00e9der une forte angulation du bord costal de l’aile post\u00e9rieure ; pour Selys, c’est m\u00eame une dent saillante ante cubitale (1), ce qui est tout de m\u00eame un peu fort.
C’est malheureusement assez difficile \u00e0 observer sur photos, car les ailes de ces zygopt\u00e8res sont bien s\u00fbr superpos\u00e9es au repos.
On le voit mieux sur la photo ci-dessous \u00e0 la moiti\u00e9 ant\u00e9nodale du bord costale de l’aile post\u00e9rieure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selys nous dit que l’abdomen d’un m\u00e2le pris en Birmanie mesure 32 mm. Odonata of China<\/a> lui voit un abdomen de 35 \u00e0 39 mm et une longueur totale de 45 \u00e0 50 mm. Sur ce m\u00eame site, on trouve d’ailleurs un scan d’une aile post\u00e9rieure d’Anisopleura yunannensis, que je montre pour souligner la singularit\u00e9 du bord ant\u00e9rieur de la nervure costale de ce genre, m\u00eame si sur cette esp\u00e8ce, l’angulation est bien plus proche de la base de l’aile.
Quant \u00e0 Asahina (3), il mesure l’abdomen \u00e0 40-41 mm avec les appendices anaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’identification se fait par l’examen des appendices anaux tr\u00e8s typiques (premi\u00e8re photo), que Selys d\u00e9crit, de profil, \u00ab\u00a0en patte d’\u00e9crevisse ouverte\u00a0\u00bb. Disons qu’ils sont tr\u00e8s visiblement fourchus.

Les femelles sont tr\u00e8s voisines, mais le dimorphisme sexuel est \u00e9vident avec un abdomen plus massif, termin\u00e9 par un lourd ovipositeur. Ces photos ont toutes \u00e9t\u00e9 faites sur quelques dizaines de m\u00e8tres carr\u00e9s qui se sont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9s tr\u00e8s riche en faune de toute sorte (col\u00e9opt\u00e8res et h\u00e9t\u00e9ropt\u00e8res), d\u00e8s que le soleil a bien voulu r\u00e9appara\u00eetre avec notamment Leptogomphus gestroi, Hyaleothemis clementia, Megalestes kurahashii, Calicnemia erythromelas et Aeschnophlebia chiangmaiensis m\u00e2le et femelle !

Noter la partie sup\u00e9rieure de la base des ailes l\u00e9g\u00e8rement ambr\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noter la longueur des ailes qui atteignent au moins l’extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 de l’abdomen.

L’esp\u00e8ce est pr\u00e9sente au nord de la Tha\u00eflande, au Myanmar, vraisemblablement au nord du Laos et du Vietnam, puisqu’on la trouve aussi au sud de la Chine.

\u00c9tymologie<\/span>
Anisopleura, du grec anisos<\/em>, pour in\u00e9gal,<\/em> et pleura, de pleuros<\/em>, qui signifie flanc<\/em> ou c\u00f4t\u00e9, mais<\/em>\u00a0aussi pl\u00e8vre<\/em> et donc membrane<\/em>. Selys signifie, par ce nom de genre qui nous rappelle le sous-ordre Anisopt\u00e8re<\/em>, que les deux membranes alaires de ce Zygopt\u00e8re<\/em> ont des formes diff\u00e9rentes, \u00e9voquant, bien s\u00fbr, l’angulation du bord costal de l’aile post\u00e9rieure.
Furcata, du latin furca<\/em> pour fourche<\/em> et du suffixe -atus<\/em> signifiant dot\u00e9 de<\/em>, pour souligner la forme caract\u00e9ristique des appendices anaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
