Fin janvier 2020 je modifie cette page pour changer le nom de ce Megalestes qui passe de M. distans<\/em> \u00e0 Megalestes haui<\/em> suite \u00e0 une mauvaise identification de Asahina.<\/strong> Je laisse tout ce m\u00eame ce que j’avais \u00e9crit, et mes doutes, lorsque j’avais r\u00e9dig\u00e9 cette page.

Dans une publication du 6 janvier 2018, dans le \u00ab\u00a0Journal of the International Dragonfly Fund\u00a0\u00bb, Quoc Toan Phan et Van Quang To \u00e9mettent des doutes quant \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence de Megalestes distans au Vietnam ; il faut donc prendre l’identification de ce sujet avec r\u00e9serve. Tom Kompier sur le terrain ne m’a pas sembl\u00e9 douter de son identit\u00e9.
Phan Toan que j’ai contact\u00e9 pense que M. distans et M. micans serait peut-\u00eatre synonymes. Pourtant, mes photos de M. micans montre une nette ligne jaune sur le prothorax, ce que ne para\u00eet pas montrer ce sujet.<\/em>
Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9crit \u00e0 partir d’un sujet du sud-ouest du Guangxi (Chine).
Dans \u00ab\u00a0Odonata of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, China, 2003\u00a0\u00bb Wilson d\u00e9crit Megalestes Haui (Synlestidae) et donne une mesure de l’abdomen de 56 \u00e0 58 mm ce qui correspond \u00e0 une taille totale d’environ 65 mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quel que soit son nom l\u00e9gitime [mais cette fois-ci c’est bien M. haui !], il se tenait non loin d’un \u00e9tang, au bord d’un chemin forestier, bien \u00e0 l’ombre.
Selon l’IUCN<\/a> on le trouve au Guangxi et dans quatre localisations au Vietnam, dont Pia Oac o\u00f9 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 faites ces photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
