Pseudagrion pruinosum m\u00e2le, Vietnam, Cao Bang, 04\/06\/2018<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

J’avais d\u00e9j\u00e0 rencontr\u00e9 Pseudagrion pruinosum (Coenagrionidae) en Malaisie<\/a>, mais je n’avais pas eu la chance d’y voir la femelle.
Il est facile \u00e0 identifier avec ses yeux, sa face et ses pt\u00e9rostigmas rouges, son thorax tr\u00e8s pruineux et ses longs appendices anaux. Il mesure environ 42 mm.
Il se plait sur les ruisseaux au d\u00e9bit lent, pourvu de plantes immerg\u00e9es. Ici<\/a>, de magnifiques photos de sa larve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’IUCN<\/a> nous dit qu’on le trouve en Indon\u00e9sie et Malaisie, au Vietnam, Hong Kong et le sud de la Chine (Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan et Guizhou), au Laos, en Tha\u00eflande et au Cambodge. En 2017, on l’a d\u00e9couvert dans l’extr\u00eame est de l’Inde, en Arunal Pradesh ( First record of Pseudagrion pruinosum (Odonata: Coenagrionidae) from mainland India, Arajush Payra, C.K. Deepak, Jagdish Saini & Basudev Tripathy , juin 2018).
En anglais, il prend le nom de Ferruginous-faced sprite.

Et ci-dessous, une photo de la seule femelle rencontr\u00e9e, que j’ai d’abord confondue avec sa cousine Pseudagrion rubriceps<\/a>, mais elle n’a pas de bleu sur le pronotum, ni sur les derniers segments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
