Il n&rsquo;a rien d&rsquo;extraordinaire, la photo est banale, mais c&rsquo;est un peu comme en France notre Ischnura elegans, un f\u00e9tiche, une mascotte par sa pr\u00e9sence ubiquiste.<br><br>En 1842, dans Histoire Naturelle des Insectes, Rambur (1) l&rsquo;a d\u00e9crit sous le nom d&rsquo;Agrion senegalense. Il faut dire qu&rsquo;on reconnaissait alors beaucoup de membres au genre Agrion (comme au genre Libellula!). <br>Rambur l&rsquo;a bien s\u00fbr d\u00e9crit \u00e0 partir d&rsquo;un sujet provenant du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal. Il \u00e9met un doute sur des sujets de la m\u00eame collection (Marquis de Br\u00eame) provenant de Bombay (Inde), de Java (Indon\u00e9sie) et du Cap (Afrique du Sud) tant sans doute la r\u00e9partition lui para\u00eet immense. Mais I. senegalensis est bien pr\u00e9sent dans ces pays.
