Je dois dire que je n’ai pas identifi\u00e9 ce zygopt\u00e8re comme Coenagrion puella femelle \u00e9mergente directement sur le terrain de prospection. En marchant sur le bord d’un \u00e9tang o\u00f9 s’\u00e9battaient de nombreux Coenagrion scitulum, je l’ai vu s’envoler d’une brindille sortant de l’eau et se poser dans la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation imm\u00e9diatement \u00e0 proximit\u00e9.
Sur cet \u00e9tang et dans le voisinage, j’ai vu ce jour C. scitulum, C. puella, E. cyathigerum et E. lidenii.

Les indices pour identifier une femelle \u00e0 cet \u00e2ge sont assez maigres et il faut se tourner vers le pronotum et les taches postoculaires et avoir une certaine habitude\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agrion jouvencelle<\/em> femelle \u00e9mergente, Le Fuilet (France-49), 29\/05\/2026<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

On sait que les taches postoculaires de E. lindenii<\/a> sont le plus souvent r\u00e9duites \u00e0 un trait voire absentes. Celles de C. scitulum<\/a> sont petites, lisses<\/em> et grossi\u00e8rement triangulaires \u00e0 base externe. Celles de E. cyathigerum<\/a> sont variables, tr\u00e8s larges \u00e0 plus r\u00e9duites, mais toujours avec un bord post\u00e9rieur lisse<\/em>.
Car celles de notre sujet ont un bord post\u00e9rieur irr\u00e9gulier avec par endroits de petites indentations, ce qui permet \u00e9galement d’\u00e9liminer C. mercuriale<\/a>, improbable sur un \u00e9tang, dont les taches sont assez proches de C. scitulum, plus larges g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, \u00e9galement triangulaires \u00e0 base externe, mais lisses<\/em> sur leur bord post\u00e9rieur.
Finalement le plus proche sur le plan des taches postoculaires est un Coenagrion rare en Maine-et-Loire, jamais rencontr\u00e9 sur ce terrain, C. pulchellum<\/a> ; mais m\u00eame si on ne voit pas encore tr\u00e8s correctement le pronotum, il est tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent ici de celui de l’Agrion <\/em>joli. Il ne pr\u00e9sente pas de lobe post\u00e9rieur et n’est pas tr\u00e8s fortement divis\u00e9 en trois lobes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il s’agit donc bien de Coenagrion puella femelle \u00e9mergente, une tr\u00e8s jeune jouvencelle<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
