Ils sont 71 en Afrique r\u00e9partis en 2 groupes et P. hemicolon fait partie du groupe A. Mais il est vraiment tr\u00e8s ressemblant, au point qu&rsquo;on a d&rsquo;abord cru qu&rsquo;il ne s&rsquo;agissait que d&rsquo;une seule esp\u00e8ce, mais finalement, et m\u00eame sans les appendices anaux, des diff\u00e9rences de coloration permettent de les s\u00e9parer :<br>&#8211; La face et le vertex de P. epiphomenaticum portent de larges taches jaune clair ; seuls le clypeus, le labre et le surtout labium de P. hemicolon sont jaune sale.<br>&#8211; Les <em>pattes de P. hemicolon sont jaunes<\/em> (il a d&rsquo;ailleurs aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9crit ult\u00e9rieurement par Sj\u00f6stedt sous le nom de <em>P. flavipes<\/em>), celles de son sosie sont noires.<br>&#8211; La bande ant\u00e9hum\u00e9rale de notre esp\u00e8ce est compl\u00e8te, un peu \u00e9trangl\u00e9e dans sa partie distale, celle de son cousin est souvent tr\u00e8s \u00e9trangl\u00e9e, voire en point d&rsquo;exclamation (je suppose que Karsch, lorsqu&rsquo;il fait sa description, a eu en main un sujet un peu variant, comme on peut en rencontrer, avec une bande ant\u00e9hum\u00e9rale interrompue) .<br>&#8211; Enfin le S8 est largement bleu, curieusement encoch\u00e9 pour P. hemicolon, la coloration est moins \u00e9tendue pour P. epiphomenaticum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 26%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On devine \u00e0 peine sur ma photo, sur le cerque gauche (appendice anal sup\u00e9rieur), le crochet rentrant que forme son extr\u00e9mit\u00e9. Agrion, du grec\u00a0<em>Agrios<\/em>\u2013\u00a0<em>sauvage<\/em>, vivant dans les champs.<br><strong>Hemicolon<\/strong> du grec <em>hemi<\/em> pour <em>moiti\u00e9<\/em> et de <em>kolon<\/em> qui d\u00e9signait \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine <em>un membre du corps<\/em>, puis <em>une partie d&rsquo;une phrase<\/em>. Mais ce mot en latin scientifique, est le terme technique pour d\u00e9signer le point-virgule.
