Le 17 juillet 2019, je ne m’attendais pas \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir cet Anax parthenope m\u00e2le. J’\u00e9tais en effet \u00e0 la recherche de Trithemis annulata que je n’avais pas encore rencontr\u00e9 en France et je savais, que comme sur beaucoup de plans d’eau du sud-ouest, il est pr\u00e9sent sur le lac d’Hourtin.
En approchant de l’eau, j’ai vu passer un Aeshnidae que je n’ai pas pu identifier bien que son comportement m’a donn\u00e9 une bonne piste. Il volait \u00e0 environ 1,5 \u00e0 2 m au-dessus de l’eau, \u00e0 la limite des joncs \u00e0 massette, zigzagant parfois entre leurs tiges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J’avais d\u00e9j\u00e0 observ\u00e9 ce comportement dans ma r\u00e9gion, en 2013, sur le bel \u00e9tang de Chevign\u00e9 (49).

Heureusement, il a fini par se poser \u00e0 une dizaine de m\u00e8tres de moi, mais ne m’a permis que cette photo pour confirmer l’identification.
J’ai pu l’observer au moins une dizaine de minutes, errant \u00e0 la recherche d’une femelle, p\u00e9riode durant laquelle il s’est repos\u00e9 2 fois bri\u00e8vement, reprenant l’air pour chasser un second individu concurrent.
J’ai d\u00fb abandonner le site, non sans avoir trouv\u00e9 mon premier Trithemis annulata fran\u00e7ais. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
