Asiagomphus est un genre difficile, et Asiagomphus pacificus est tr\u00e8s proche de A. hainanensis qui ne serait peut-\u00eatre pas pr\u00e9sent au Vietnam (?) Mais le labrum des m\u00e2les est totalement noir (une paire de points jaunes pour A. hainensis) et les femelles seraient diff\u00e9rentes, notre esp\u00e8ce porterait plusieurs \u00ab\u00a0\u00e9pines\u00a0\u00bb sur le front. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A. hainanensis n’est d’ailleurs pr\u00e9sent ni au Guangxi ni au Yunnan, les deux provinces de Chine qui bordent le nord du Vietnam et sont tr\u00e8s proches de Cao Bang, ou a \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9 ce sujet.\u00a0
Il se diff\u00e9rencie facilement des autres Asiagomphus que nous avons rencontr\u00e9s (A. acco et auricolor) par les lignes jaunes que porte la face dorsale de son abdomen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il mesure environ 55 \u00e0 60 mm et a \u00e9t\u00e9 trouv\u00e9 sur\u00a0une rivi\u00e8re assez large\u00a0\u00e0 courant mod\u00e9r\u00e9, au lit rocheux et sablonneux, la rive alternant entre v\u00e9g\u00e9tation basse et for\u00eat claire, \u00e0 une altitude de 370 m. Il se rencontre dans le sud de la Chine et… le nord du Vietnam.
