La premi\u00e8re chose qui m’a surpris en rencontrant ce que nous avons alors appel\u00e9 Hylaeothemis clementia est sa \u00ab\u00a0ressemblance\u00a0\u00bb avec les Micrathyria am\u00e9ricaines, surtout pour la couleur des yeux et les motifs abdominaux.
La seconde surprise est sa diff\u00e9rence avec les autres photos que l’on peut trouver dans diff\u00e9rentes publications scientifiques sur le Web, photos par G.T. Reels (Previously unpublished Odonata records from Sarawak<\/a>, Born\u00e9o, Part III. Sri Aman, Sibu and Kapit Divisions) ou par R. Ngiam (Dow, R. A. & R. W. J. Ngiam. 2014. Odonata from logged and unlogged forest in the Ulu Balui and Ulu Baleh, Kapit Division, Sarawak, in June and September 2013. Journal of the International Dragonfly Fund – Report, 73: 1-48) de sujets du Sarawak (Born\u00e9o).
Ces photos montrent des sujets avec de tr\u00e8s nettes diff\u00e9rences, en particulier des bandes ant\u00e9hum\u00e9rales claires tr\u00e8s \u00e9videntes. On trouve dans Asahina \u00ab\u00a0A list of the Odonata from Thailand\u00a0\u00bb les dessins des genitalia de sujets de Tha\u00eflande et de Born\u00e9o et ils ne correspondent ni l’un ni l’autre avec ceux de notre esp\u00e8ce<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je n’ai pas trouv\u00e9 la description originale de Ris, mais Asahina pr\u00e9cise qu’elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite \u00e0 partir de sujets de Born\u00e9o. Cette esp\u00e8ce vietnamienne fait donc sans doute partie d’une autre esp\u00e8ce non d\u00e9crite, autre esp\u00e8ce qui serait aussi pr\u00e9sente dans le sud du Vietnam, comme me le dit James Holden pour des sujets de Cat Tien. C’est de toute fa\u00e7on un genre dont les esp\u00e8ces sont peu communes et dont on ne conna\u00eet pas grand-chose si ce n’est que l’aile post\u00e9rieure mesurerait environ 25 mm ce qui en fait un tr\u00e8s petit Libellulidae.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour cette femelle Hylaeothemis \u00ab\u00a0clementia\u00a0\u00bb captur\u00e9e le m\u00eame jour et sur le m\u00eame lieu que le premier m\u00e2le la situation est encore plus simple, car en dehors du m\u00e2le immature (les m\u00e2les immatures ressemblent tr\u00e8s souvent aux femelles en particulier pour les Libellulidae) que l’on trouve sur le blog de Tom Kompier<\/a>, je n’ai rien trouv\u00e9 de ressemblant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Si on se base sur les donn\u00e9es de l’IUCN, Hylaeothemis clementia se rencontre \u00e0 Born\u00e9o, en Malaisie p\u00e9ninsulaire, en Tha\u00eflande, Laos, Vietnam, Yunnan et Hainan en Chine.
