Calicnemia erythromelas (Platycnemididae) est tr\u00e8s proche de C. soccifera ; il s’en distingue par ses pattes noires (rouge\u00e2tres pour son cousin) et les \u00e9videntes bandes rouge orang\u00e9 de son thorax (gris\u00e2tres pour l’autre esp\u00e8ce) car tous les deux ont l’abdomen rouge et les quatre derniers segments noirs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il m’a sembl\u00e9 assez grand, pr\u00e8s de 45 mm, mais cette impression d’\u00e9l\u00e9gance est peut-\u00eatre due \u00e0 la r\u00e9partition de la coloration sur l’abdomen. Nous l’avons trouv\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de Pia Oac, en nous engageant dans un chemin forestier long\u00e9 par un ruisseau \u00e0 environ 1350 m d’altitude, le 5 juin 2018.
Il est connu pour se trouver au Myanmar, dans le nord de la Tha\u00eflande, le sud de la Chine (Yunnan) et le nord du Vietnam.

\u00c9tymologie<\/span><\/strong>
Calicnemia<\/span> (Sand, 1928) vient sans doute de la racine grec cal<\/em>, qui signifie beau<\/em> et du grec ancien \u00ab\u00a0kn\u0113m\u0113<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb pour jambe<\/em>. Selys avait cr\u00e9\u00e9 le genre Calicnemis (1) en 1863, mais il ignorait que le nom est d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0pr\u00e9occup\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb par un col\u00e9opt\u00e8re<\/a> depuis 1832. Sand, en 1928, a transform\u00e9 Calicnemis en Calicnemia. Il faut rappeler que cette esp\u00e8ce appartient \u00e0 la famille des Platycnemididae (Platy<\/em>, qui signifie large en grec et le m\u00eame \u00ab\u00a0kn\u0113m\u0113<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb pour jambe<\/em> qui s’illustre en Europe pour la largeur des tibias des m\u00e2les de nos Platycnemis latipes)<\/a>
Mais en fait, cnemis ou cnemia ne doivent \u00eatre vus que comme un signe d’appartenance au Platycnemididae car Selys pr\u00e9cisait pour les Calicnemis : \u00ab\u00a0Tibias non dilat\u00e9s (comme tous les autres genres [de Platycnemididae], except\u00e9 Platycnemis).

Erythromelas (2)<\/span>, du grec \u00e9rythr\u00f3s<\/em> pour rouge<\/em> et m\u00e9las<\/em>, pour noir. Et il est vrai que cette esp\u00e8ce est absolument rouge et noire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
