Il faut \u00e9voluer d&rsquo;une larve aquatique <em>contenant<\/em>  une libellule compl\u00e8tement form\u00e9e (ce n&rsquo;est pas une m\u00e9tamorphose !), compress\u00e9e\/comprim\u00e9e  \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur de l&rsquo;enveloppe cuticulaire  \u00e0 un insecte parfait, plusieurs  fois plus long et  bien s\u00fbr pourvu d&rsquo;ailes l\u00e9g\u00e8res, s\u00e8ches et transparentes.<br>Cette expansion r\u00e9sulte d&rsquo;une forte augmentation de la pression de l&rsquo;h\u00e9molymphe, qui permet l&rsquo;expansion de l&rsquo;abdomen et des ailes.<br>Et ce sont justement des gouttes d&rsquo;h\u00e9molymphe que l&rsquo;on voit s&rsquo;\u00e9chapper de l&rsquo;extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;abdomen de cette femelle, par son anus&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:12px\">La vid\u00e9o est en boucle; malheureusement les contr\u00f4les de lecture  assombrissent la partie inf\u00e9rieure, exactement l\u00e0 o\u00f9 sont \u00e9mises les gouttes. Il faut donc soit placer le pointeur hors de la vid\u00e9o, ou si on la regarde en plein \u00e9cran, ne plus bouger le pointeur qui dispara\u00eet en quelques secondes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"720\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1280 \/ 720;\" width=\"1280\" autoplay controls loop preload=\"auto\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meslibellules.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/onycho-pour-site.mp4\" playsinline><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\">Sur ces 24 secondes on constate l&rsquo;\u00e9mission de 6 gouttes, la vid\u00e9o compl\u00e8te en montre 10 (j&rsquo;ai supprim\u00e9 le d\u00e9but qui n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas assez net). Avant que je ne d\u00e9clenche la vid\u00e9o elle en a perdu au moins 4. Je ne sais pas combien elle en a perdu auparavant, et apr\u00e8s surtout car la cadence semble quand m\u00eame rapide. Soit au moins 14 gouttes ce qui est un nombre \u00e9lev\u00e9 si on se r\u00e9f\u00e8re \u00e0 Melissa Lutsch &amp; Kamilla Koch (2016) The probable function of abdominal contractions and liquid drops during the emergence of Zygoptera and Anisoptera (Odonata), International Journal of Odonatology, 19:4, 199-205, DOI: 10.1080\/13887890.2016.1251342.<br>Dans ce document, pour les anisopt\u00e8res le nombre maximum observ\u00e9 est de 9 gouttes, et \u00e9tonnamment 14 pour les zygopt\u00e8res.<br>Cet \u00e9coulement n&rsquo;a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 analys\u00e9 chimiquement. Il r\u00e9sulterait de l&rsquo;exc\u00e8s de liquide pr\u00e9sent dans l&rsquo;organisme de la libellule apr\u00e8s qu&rsquo;elle est devenue a\u00e9rienne, cette vidange ayant pour but d&rsquo;all\u00e9ger l&rsquo;odonate. <br><br>Petit calcul ; cet odonate a \u00e9limin\u00e9 14 gouttes de liquide, supposons avec ce que je n&rsquo;ai pas film\u00e9 ni observ\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il en ait perdu 20. 20 gouttes c&rsquo;est 1 cm3  si on l&rsquo;assimile \u00e0 de l&rsquo;eau et cela fait donc au moins 1 gramme.<br>Maintenant quel est le poids d&rsquo;une femelle Onychogomphus forcipatus ; je ne sais pas mais le poids de la plus grande libellule europ\u00e9enne, Anax imperator, est de 1,2 g (Corbet, 2004) pour 75 mm en moyenne.
