Gomphus graslinii femelle, Dax (France-Landes) sur une gravi\u00e8re, 05\/07\/2020<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n

C’est un ami odonatologue Landais qui m’a fait d\u00e9couvrir Gomphus graslinii femelle dans les Landes.
On ne peut la confondre qu’avec Gomphus pulchellus ou Gomphus simillimus :
  – Gomphus pulchellus<\/a> montre des lignes thoraciques beaucoup plus fines, et sur la face lat\u00e9rale du thorax sa suture interpleurale (jonction du m\u00e9so et m\u00e9ta thorax, au milieu de la face lat\u00e9rale) est soulign\u00e9e de noir sur toute sa longueur. 
  – Gomphus simillimus<\/a>  a une suture interpleurale soulign\u00e9e de noir uniquement dans sa  partie inf\u00e9rieure et les bandes noires sur la partie ant\u00e9rieure du thorax sont plus minces que la bande jaune qu’elles entourent, ce qui est l’inverse pour Gomphus graslinii. <\/p>\n\n\n

Sur cette autre femelle, ci-dessus, on constate le crit\u00e8re d’identification des bandes ant\u00e9hum\u00e9rales, les 2 bandes sombres plus larges que la bande jaune qui les s\u00e9pare.
Ses yeux montre la variation intrasp\u00e9cifique, ils sont vert-jaune en bas et bleu au sommet.
Contrairement \u00e0 ce qu’on lit dans un guide r\u00e9cent les tibias ne sont pas compl\u00e8tement noirs…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Si on peut identifier le m\u00e2le \u00e0 partir de la forme jaune de son 9\u00b0 segment, dite \u00ab\u00a0en verre \u00e0 pied\u00a0\u00bb, on constate que ce n’est pas toujours le cas pour les femelles.
Ci-dessous il faut remarquer la surprenante diff\u00e9rence de taille des f\u00e9murs des Gomphidae, courts pour les pattes ant\u00e9rieures, forts longs pour les post\u00e9rieurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette femelle montre des ailes droites abim\u00e9es \u00e0 leur extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 ce qui sugg\u00e8re qu’un incident est survenu lors de l’\u00e9mergence ; les ailes ont pu rester coinc\u00e9es dans les fourreaux alaires de l’exuvie comme je l’ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 observ\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs reprises pour des zygopt\u00e8res<\/a>.
Quoiqu’il en soit ce sujet s’est montr\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement patient et j’ai pu en faire un portrait<\/em> tr\u00e8s rapproch\u00e9 :<\/p>\n\n\n\n
