Les Landes sont-elles le paradis des Gomphus en France ? Sans doute et en dehors de l’Asie c’est une surprise pour moi de d\u00e9couvrir une telle densit\u00e9 de Gomphidae et aussi, cela va de pair, une telle densit\u00e9 de ruisseaux et de rivi\u00e8res, petites ou moyennes. Gomphus graslinii est presque commun sur ce territoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olivier Payen, un ami odonatologue m’a fait d\u00e9couvrir ses terrains de chasse et j’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 surpris de chercher ces Gomphus dans des prairies et des sentiers, en milieu ouvert, en limite de for\u00eat, sans m\u00eame parfois apercevoir l’eau des rivi\u00e8res.

Avec un tout petit peu d’habitude, Gomphus graslinii m\u00e2le est facile \u00e0 identifier lorsque les m\u00e2les sont aussi typiques que ceux-ci et que la bande jaune ant\u00e9hum\u00e9rale n’est r\u00e9duite qu’\u00e0 une tr\u00e8s fine ligne entre 2 traits noirs beaucoup plus gras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On note \u00e9galement que la ligne noire sur la suture interpleurale<\/a> est r\u00e9duite \u00e0 une courte ligne inf\u00e9rieure et une \u00e9pine sup\u00e9rieure<\/em> : cette \u00e9pine<\/em> est absente pour Gomphus simillimus (il ne subsiste que la partie inf\u00e9rieure), alors que la ligne noire est compl\u00e8te<\/em> sur toute la suture pour Gomphus pulchellus.
Si les f\u00e9murs sont domin\u00e9s de jaune, les tibias sont cens\u00e9s \u00eatre noirs, mais on observe souvent quelques traces irr\u00e9guli\u00e8res de jaune.

Les appendices anaux sup\u00e9rieurs, les cerco\u00efdes, sont bifides et spectaculairement ac\u00e9r\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C’est une des rares libellules (avec l’Agrion porte-coupe) que l’on doit pr\u00e9senter aux mineurs avec mod\u00e9ration puisqu’elle porte sur son 8\u00b0 segment abdominal le dessin jaune d’un verre \u00e0 pied, voire d’une fl\u00fbte (\u00e0 Champagne bien s\u00fbr !).

Mais on peut l’admirer sans mod\u00e9ration :<\/p>\n\n\n\n
