Je suis retourn\u00e9 3 fois sur ce site<\/a> un peu inattendu dans le bourg de Sort-en-Chalosse et j'y ai rencontr\u00e9 au moins 2 sujets diff\u00e9rents, une fois un jeune comme ci-dessus (yeux encore tr\u00e8s p\u00e2les), les 2 autres fois des sujets matures. Et le site est paradoxalement riche et j'y ai aussi d\u00e9couvert, entre autres, Stylurus flavipes !

On note ci-dessus l'abdomen nettement \u00e9largi sur les derniers segments ce qui le s\u00e9pare de Gomphus pulchellus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Si on continue \u00e0 le comparer \u00e0 G. pulchellus<\/a> on note les bandes ant\u00e9hum\u00e9rales noires, larges et grasses, beaucoup plus larges que celles de ce dernier, qui encadrent une ligne jaune \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s aussi large qu'elles. De plus G. pulchellus est le seul Gomphus \u00e0 exhiber une ligne noire compl\u00e8te tout au long de la suture interpleurale<\/a>, ici, seule la partie inf\u00e9rieure est soulign\u00e9e de noir. Les bandes ant\u00e9hum\u00e9rales noires de G. graslinii<\/a> sont encore plus grasses et entourent une tr\u00e8s fine bande jaune.

Pour moi il n'y a pas lieu de le confondre avec le 4\u00b0 Gomphus fran\u00e7ais, Gomphus vulgatissimus<\/a>, tr\u00e8s sombre, aux pattes noires et qui se distingue par l'absence de jaune sur les derniers segments et des yeux verts.

Il est peut-\u00eatre plus facile \u00e0 confondre avec Stylurus flavipes<\/a> qui montre cependant un ovale jaune cern\u00e9 de lignes noires sur le sommet de son thorax, et pas ces bandes ant\u00e9hum\u00e9rales plus ou moins parall\u00e8les que l'on note chez nos 4 Gomphus. Les cerco\u00efdes de G. simillimus sont divergents et droits, ceux de S. flavipes divergents mais concaves en dedans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
