On m’a r\u00e9cemment invit\u00e9 \u00e0 donner mon avis sur l’identification d’une femelle Sympetrum sur l’application Inaturalist.
Seule une vue sup\u00e9rieure de cette femelle \u00e9tait disponible et sur cette photo elle se tenait la t\u00eate en arri\u00e8re, de telle sorte qu’elle semblait montrer des moustaches<\/em> noires, ou plus exactement un trait noir entre le vertex et le front qui descendait le long des yeux, \u00e0 la fa\u00e7on de Sympetrum vulgatum. Le reste des crit\u00e8res, en particulier la coloration non-rouge des insertions alaires post\u00e9rieures, guidait vers S. striolatum.
J’ai parcouru mes photos et suis tomb\u00e9 sur celle-ci, une vieille femelle, tard en saison, qui montre ces lignes noires et confirme que sous certains angles, il faut \u00eatre prudent ; la femelle myst\u00e8re \u00e9tait bien compatible avec Sympetrum striolatum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
