Perch\u00e9 au-dessus de la rivi\u00e8re \u00e0 Cao Bang le 6 juin 2018, ce m\u00e2le Dysphaea basitincta (Euphaeidae) chassait et a eu la bonne id\u00e9e de se reposer quasiment au m\u00eame endroit avec sa proie. Tout pr\u00e8s de lui, j’ai aussi photographi\u00e9 D. haomiao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\nIl est facile \u00e0 identifier, unique avec ses taches basales et apicales. \n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il mesure environ 51 mm (abdomen donn\u00e9 pour 36 \u00e0 40 mm par Ren\u00e9 Martin qui l’a d\u00e9crit), et ce serait le plus grand des Dysphaea.
Il est pr\u00e9sent aussi en Chine, au Hainan et au Guangxi.
