Les femelles de \u00ab\u00a0Petite nymphe \u00e0 corps de feu\u00a0\u00bb pr\u00e9sentent des variantes. La forme classique, appel\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0typica\u00a0\u00bb est celle qui est de loin la plus fr\u00e9quente dans les Mauges; on note que les 6\u00b0, 7\u00b0 et 8\u00b0 segments abdominaux sont noirs, comme le sujet de gauche.
La forme Pyrrhosoma nymphula melanotum<\/em>, comme la femelle de droite pr\u00e9sente un abdomen tout noir, sans aucune trace de rouge. Ce qui signifie que l’on peut \u00e9galement trouver des femelles de type \u00ab\u00a0melanotum\u00a0\u00bb avec du rouge…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On d\u00e9crit \u00e9galement une variante \u00ab\u00a0fulvipes\u00a0\u00bb ou le 6\u00b0 segment abdominal n’est qu’\u00e0 moiti\u00e9 noir (ou rouge !).
Mais tous les interm\u00e9diaires entre ces variantes doivent \u00eatre possibles.

Ces femelles ne sont certainement pas rares, dans ma r\u00e9gion, et j’ai eu le plaisir d’en photographier dans divers sites. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais je ne suis pas un bon juge sur leur fr\u00e9quence dans la mesure ou je ne fais plus gu\u00e8re attention aux Pyrrhosoma m\u00e2les ou femelles que je rencontre ; j’en suis satur\u00e9 depuis des ann\u00e9es sur la petite mare de mon jardin. Et j’y vois r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement ce type de femelle en tandem ou en ponte …<\/p>\n\n\n\n
